Georgia coach Kirby Smart has picked up his first defensive commit for 2018, and it’s big news in Athens.
Adam Anderson, a four-star outside linebacker from Rome, Ga., pledged to the Bulldogs Friday morning.
“It is lifelong dream for me, coach was very excited when I told him, and I am also the first defensive commit in 2018 so he was excited for that,” Anderson told Dawgs247.
Anderson, who measures 6-foot-5, 225 pounds, is ranked the No. 7 prospect at his position and No. 12 recruit from the Peach State by 247Sports Composite.
He is UGA’s second 2018 pledge, joining four-star OT Max Wray from Franklin, Tenn.
Andrew writes about sports to fund his love of live music and collection of concert posters. He strongly endorses the Hall of Fame campaigns of Fred Taylor and Andruw Jones.
