Georgia lands top tight end from 2024 class, an in-state 5-star prospect

Georgia is having a ton of luck on the recruiting trails, particularly at Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, Georgia.
Late on Tuesday night, the Bulldogs landed a pledge from 2024 4-star WR Ny Carr. And, on Thursday, the Bulldogs scored a commitment from his teammate, 5-star 2024 TE Landen Thomas.
As you can see below, Thomas took to Twitter to reveal he was committing to the Bulldogs and coach Kirby Smart:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Thomas is the No. 1 tight end in the class of 2024 and the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
The Bulldogs now have 2 players in their 2024 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 5 nationally, per 247Sports.
