Georgia WR Shaquery Wilson, a composite three-star prospect who did not play in 2015, intends to transfer from the program.
According to DawgNation.com, Wilson wants to be closer to his infant child and his hometown of Coral Gables, Fla. Although it’s just speculation at this point, it’s possible that Wilson could follow Mark Richt to Miami.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound receiver was a composite three-star athlete in the 2015 recruiting class. He was wishy-washy during the recruiting period, changing his commitment from Georgia to West Virginia before a last-minute change of heart sent him to Athens.
Wilson joins Faton Bauta on the list of players headed elsewhere after 2015. That’s to be expected with a coaching change, but it’s possible both of those defections would’ve happened anyway.
The team still may face a depth deficit at quarterback, but neither player’s decision should make a huge impact on coach Kirby Smart’s first season.
