Georgia just made a huge addition to its 2026 recruiting class.

The Bulldogs have earned a commitment from 4-star offensive lineman Ekene Ogboko in the class of 2026. He chose Georgia over offers from programs such as Ohio State, Alabama, Notre Dame, Florida, Clemson and plenty more.

On3’s Hayes Fawcett first shared the news of his commitment on Wednesday afternoon:

Ogboko is an elite prospect. He’s the No. 68 overall player and the No. 4 interior offensive lineman in the country for the class of 2026, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 7 prospect from the state of North Carolina in this cycle.

Ogboko attends South Garner High School in Durham, North Carolina. He’s listed at 6-foot-6, 280 pounds.

With this commitment, Georgia is one step closer to finalizing an elite recruiting class for the 2026 cycle. The Bulldogs now have 17 high school recruits committed for this class, which ranks No. 2 nationally behind only USC per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Georgia’s 2026 class is headlined by 5-star quarterback Jared Curtis, but the Bulldogs have done a lot of work in recent days to get this class to No. 2 overall in the national rankings. Ogboko is the 6th 2026 prospect to commit to UGA since the beginning of June.
