Georgia will host Thomas Davis Jr. on an official visit this weekend, according to a report.

That’s per On3’s Chad Simmons, who notes that Davis is currently committed to Notre Dame. He’s also the son of former NFL All-Pro and Carolina Panthers legend Thomas Davis, who was an All-American at Georgia before turning pro.

The younger Davis is a 4-star linebacker prospect in the class of 2026. He’s been committed to Notre Dame since November, but it seems he may still be interested in playing for his father’s alma mater.

If Georgia is able to flip Davis, it would be a huge win for its 2026 recruiting class. He’s currently regarded as the No. 189 overall player and the No. 10 inside linebacker in the country for this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Despite his dad’s ties to UGA, Davis grew up in North Carolina. He attends Weddington High School in Matthews, North Carolina. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 205.

Davis will not be the only elite prospect in Athens this weekend. The Bulldogs are expected to host numerous blue-chip prospects, including 5-star tight end Kaiden Prothro. Entering the weekend, the Bulldogs have 10 commits in the class of 2026.
