Social media erupts to running clock in 4th quarter of Georgia-Vanderbilt game

The Georgia Bulldogs were clobbering the Vanderbilt Commodores 62-0 in the fourth quarter, and apparently, the 2 teams decided on a running clock.

At that point, Georgia had 62 points, while Vanderbilt had 62 total yards. Seriously. Now, the clock didn’t run the entire time, but it kept running when players went out of bounds.

The shape that Derek Mason left Vandy’s program should be criminal. Clark Lea certainly has his work cut out for him.

Who would have thought we would have had a running clock in an SEC game at any point this season? Folks joke about running clocks all the time, BUT to really have one is … something.
