Tennessee head coach Butch Jones met with the Knoxville media on Wednesday afternoon and provided an injury update for the Volunteers ahead of their game at No. 1 Alabama on Saturday.
Here is a series of quotes, transcribed from a YouTube video posted by Vince Ferrara, from Jones in regards to injured players and whether or not they’ll be ready to go this weekend:
- “Jakob Johnson has practiced all week, so he’ll play. We’re excited to have him back.”
- “Evan Berry has been practicing. We would list him as probably questionable for the game.”
- “Justin Martin will be at practice today [Wednesday], so we’re excited to see what he can do.”
- “Cheyenne Labruzza will be out for the remainder of the season and will undergo surgery next week.”
- “Deandre Johnson is another individual that’s questionable, so we’ll see where he’s at in practice.”
- “Marquez [Callaway] is fine. It was just one of those things where he landed on a football.”
Alabama and Tennessee will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
