Hayden Hurst reaches agreement with Baltimore Ravens on first NFL contract

The Baltimore Ravens had two first-round picks in the 2018 NFL Draft, and now both are apparently under contract with the team.
The Ravens took former Heisman-winning QB Lamar Jackson with the 32nd and final pick in Round 1, and before that, they selected South Carolina TE Hayden Hurst with the No. 25 pick.
On Tuesday afternoon, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport revealed that Hurst had reportedly agreed to terms on his first contract with Baltimore:

Hurst is due to make quite a bit of money over the life of the contract, according to Pro Football Talk. The site revealed that the deal is likely going to be worth more than $11 million:
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Hurst is due a four-year, $11.1 million deal as the 25th overall pick in the draft. He’ll also have a fifth-year option, like every first-round pick.
Hurst is likely to be an immediate contributor for the Ravens, who have a major need at the tight end position. His progress this preseason will be crucial for the team’s offense this fall.
UPDATE: The Ravens have since confirmed the news of Hurst’s signing:
