How many games will LSU win in 2026? Early win total posted for Year 1 under Lane Kiffin
While most college football win totals aren’t posted until the summer, there’s been an exception made for LSU.
The Tigers officially introduced Lane Kiffin as their next head coach on Monday. With a new era beginning in Baton Rouge next year, FanDuel is already offering an LSU win total prop for 2026.
FanDuel has LSU’s preseason win total projection at 9.5 games. As of publication, the over is priced at +128 while the under is -172.
Of course, this number is subject to change as the offseason marches on. LSU will presumably be very active in the transfer portal this offseason as it builds its first roster under Kiffin. LSU also still has to make numerous key coaching hires for 2026.

Next year’s schedule includes Clemson, Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M, Auburn, Ole Miss and Tennessee, among other programs.
Dates haven’t been set yet, but LSU will make the trip to Oxford to face Kiffin’s old program next fall. Coincidentally, LSU will also play in Knoxville — another former Kiffin program — in 2026.
LSU is set to open the 2026 season with Clemson on Sept. 5 in Death Valley.
