Jack Coan, Notre Dame’s starting quarterback, left the field against Wisconsin in the third quarter. The Irish and Badgers are currently tied at 10-10 with just over 4 minutes left in the third quarter.

Coan, of course, was the talk of the pre-game due to him transferring from Wisconsin to Notre Dame during the offseason.

Coan was taken to the locker room after suffering an injury Saturday, and CBS Sports is reporting that Coan is likely out for the remainder of the game.

The Notre Dame quarterback had his leg bent underneath him during the possession.

Coan has thrown for 158 yards and 1 touchdown against his former teammates in Wisconsin. Hopefully, he’ll be able to return to the game at Solider Field.

Drew Pyne replaced Coan at quarterback for the Irish.
