The Jacksonville Jaguars have a lot riding on No. 4 overall pick Leonard Fournette this season.
Therefore, they are going to be careful with the former LSU star running back, exercising caution when he gets banged up during the preseason.
On Sunday, coach Doug Marrone confirmed that Fournette has a minor foot injury and that the team would be careful using him for the near future:

To prevent the injury from getting any worse, the Jags held their star rookie out of practice on Sunday:

Fournette carried the ball nine times for 31 yards and a touchdown in Jacksonville’s 31-24 preseason-opening victory over the New England Patriots on Thursday night.
Whether or not he plays in this Thursday’s preseason contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers remains to be seen.
