Jalen Carter and Tyrann Mathieu exchanged words late in the Philadelphia Eagles’ 15-12 Week 3 win over the New Orleans Saints.
With 47 seconds remaining, FOX cameras spotted Carter and Mathieu shouting at each other. Carter got so heated that Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, defensive line coach Clint Hurtt, and chief security officer Dom DiSandro had to come over to calm him down.
Here’s video of the incident as it happened:

The Eagles will have a happy trip back to Philly after pulling out a late win over the previously undefeated Saints, as Saquon Barkley’s 4-yard touchdown and subsequent 2-point conversion with 1 minute remaining in regulation gave his team the lead for good.
The Saints had an opportunity to potentially get into field goal range as they sought to get the game to overtime, but a Derek Carr interception sealed the deal for the visitors.
That gave Carter, the former Georgia great, something to say to Mathieu, the ex-LSU standout, as the Eagles improved to 2-1. They visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4.
