Ja’Marr Chase and the Cincinnati Bengals haven’t had the best of seasons — they dropped to 1-4 with a 41-38 overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens — but the star wide receiver nearly broke the 200-yard plateau on Sunday.
Chase had by far his best statistical game of the year, pulling in 10 catches for 193 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss while being targeted 12 times. One of those touchdowns, Joe Burrow’s fifth passing TD of the day, went for 70 yards, which you can see below:

For Chase, that was his 10th receiving touchdown of over 60 yards. According to NFL senior researcher Tony Holzman-Escareno, only one other player in league history under the age of 25 had set that mark: Harlon Hill, back in the 1950s.
Ultimately, Chase’s big afternoon came in a losing cause as the Bengals continued their early-season struggles. But the loss to the Ravens certainly wasn’t for lack of trying on the part of the former LSU star.
Cincinnati next travels to MetLife Stadium for a Week 6 matchup against the New York Giants on “Sunday Night Football”.
