Report: Vanderbilt has zeroed in on two-time NBA All-Star Jerry Stackhouse for head-coaching vacancy

Vanderbilt basketball may have a new head coach soon.
According to CBS Sports college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, the Commodores have zeroed in on and are in contract negotiations with former two-time NBA All-Star Jerry Stackhouse.
Following his 18-year NBA career, Stackhouse has been an assistant with the Toronto Raptors and Memphis Grizzlies. He attended North Carolina for two years, and he became the third pick overall in the 1995 NBA Draft.
The 44-year old played in 970 NBA games and averaged 16.9 points during his career.
