Four-star quarterback Jett Thomalla was already committed to Alabama. Now, the 6-foot-4 Nebraska native from the Class of 2026 is officially shutting down his recruitment to pledge to the Crimson Tide, according to Rivals.
Thomalla is inspired to follow in the historically successful lineage of former Alabama quarterback stars.
“No one does it like Bama, especially at the QB spot,” Thomalla said.
Thomalla is regarded by the 247Sports composite rankings as the No. 1 prospect from Nebraska and the nation’s No. 10 quarterback. He also held offers from other schools such as Iowa State, Arizona, Arkansas State, and Colorado State.
Thomalla possesses some encouraging traits as a passer and uses his frame to his advantage, while running isn’t particularly a skill.
Thomalla will be an interesting prospect to keep tabs on in the Crimson Tide’s pipeline.
With a couple of months to go before the Early Signing Period, Alabama has the nation’s No. 3-ranked class, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
