The Florida Gators’ offense was disappointing on Saturday in a 33-17 loss to Michigan, watching as the defense scored both of the team’s touchdowns.
Now, the news is getting even worse for the maligned unit, as injured TE DeAndre Goolsby may be out for a while.
In fact, coach Jim McElwain said during his press conference on Wednesday that he’s not sure the senior tight end will be able to return at all this year:
#Gators TE DeAndre Goolsby is out indefinitely, McElwain said "I don't know if we'll get him back"

Though it was unknown what injury Goolsby was dealing with, McElwain said it was a leg injury:
Mac specified it as a "leg" injury and said no idea when he will return. https://t.co/RJQGeBLfpg

Goolsby didn’t record any stats during Saturday’s loss and now faces a lengthy absence from the field.
In 2016, Goolsby recorded 38 catches for 342 yards and three touchdowns as a junior.
Without him, redshirt freshman QB Feleipe Franks will have limited options when the Gators take on Northern Colorado on Saturday.
