John Rhys Plumlee has been a fan favorite at Ole Miss for a number of years. Since starting at quarterback in 2019, he has shifted to receiver under Lane Kiffin the past 2 years.
He also plays baseball for the Rebels, but it appears he won’t be around for this coming season on the diamond.
Plumlee announced via Twitter on Monday afternoon that he was entering the transfer portal:

Per a report from On3 Sports, 2 schools have emerged as potential landing spots for Plumlee — UCF and Indiana:
Both schools are recruiting him as a quarterback. He would also be allowed to play baseball, as he did for two seasons at Ole Miss. UCF is the favorite.
In 2021, Plumlee recorded 18 catches for 200 yards. He also ran the ball 10 times for 73 yards. We’ll see where Plumlee ends up next and if he wins the quarterback job.
