Jonathan Mingo broke an Ole Miss single-game record in Ole Miss 52-28 win over the Vanderbilt Commodores.

Mingo caught 9 passes for 247 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win, which broke the Rebels single-game receiving record. Elijah Moore previously held that record since 2020. Moore, like Mingo, set the receiving record against Vanderbilt.

On the season, the star Rebels wide receiver has caught 19 passes for 481 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Mingo’s first touchdown came on a 71-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter.

His second touchdown came in the fourth quarter on a 72-yard reception.

Elijah Moore was certainly electrifying for the Rebels. Mingo is proving to be a big-time target for Lane Kiffin’s offense.

Kiffin was asked about Mingo’s record following the game.

“Really cool day for Mingo to break Elijah’s record that was done here. Great day by him. … He’s worked hard. He’s one of the coolest kids we have by the way he works. … Totally unselfish.”
