WATCH: 5-star freshman QB Justin Fields throws first TD pass at Georgia

Georgia fans (and others around the SEC) are getting their first look at 5-star freshman QB Justin Fields, and he’s looked pretty good.
While Fields is certainly behind Jake Fromm in the QB competition, he may be too good to keep off the field in 2018. Obviously, he likely won’t beat out Fromm as the everyday starter, but Fields could certainly have an impact as a changeup signal caller.
Fields threw his first TD pass to 6-foot-5 WR Matt Landers, who went up and got it in the end zone for the TD (FnA_GeorgiaBulldogs). Fields’ TD pass put the Black team up 21-6.

Fields had another pretty throw to Jeremiah Hollomon earlier in the game, too:

As it stands right now, Fields is 14-of-23 for 192 yards and one TD.
