Kentucky has added a transfer defensive back with SEC experience.
Londyn Craft, a transfer from Mississippi State, is now listed on UK’s 2022 football roster.
Craft, originally from Rio Rancho, New Mexico, was with the Bulldogs for 5 seasons. He joined MSU in 2017, redshirting that fall. Over the next 4 seasons, he played in 20 games.
Craft’s most productive season was in 2020. In 10 games, Craft recorded 56 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 2 pass breakups and a fumble recovery. Craft recorded 1 tackle in 2019, but no defensive statistics in 2018 or 2021.
The NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver for the 2020 season grants Craft a sixth season of eligibility.
Kentucky opens the 2022 season at home against Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 3. The Wildcats host Mississippi State on Oct. 15.
