Wow.
The Kentucky Wildcats finally ended Florida’s 31-game winning Saturday night in The Swamp 27-16, and UK fans are out of their minds right now.
It’s the perfect storms of sort for both programs, and it was no fluke. Kentucky had the better players, the better athletes and played the better overall football game. RB Benny Snell led the Wildcats with 175 yards rushing, while QB Terry Wilson threw for 151 yards and two TDs along with adding 105 rushing yards and one rushing TD.
So, breath, Kentucky fans. The streak is finally over.
Wildcats fans went wild on Twitter following the win. It has been 11,620 days since Kentucky last beat Florida in football. Enjoy.
