The Kentucky Wildcats had success with former Columbia punter and native Australian Matt Panton this season, so they decided to bring in another Australian punter.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Max Duffy, a former Australian Football League punter, had committed to Kentucky as a member of the 2018 recruiting class.
Prokick Australia, an Australian kicking academy, announced the news on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon:

Duffy is already 23 years old, so it will be interesting to see if he stays all four years at Kentucky or tries to make the jump to the NFL sooner than that.
For now, though, the Wildcats will be happy to have a punter in the mix for next season and will try to help Duffy reach his goals.
