Kentucky picked up a big-time commitment in the class of 2024 on Wednesday morning.
The Wildcats earned a pledge from 3-star running back Tovani Mizell. He was committed to Georgia until March of 2023 when he backed off of that pledge. North Carolina and Oklahoma were also active in Mizell’s recruitment over the past couple of months.

Mizell is a big pickup for Kentucky. He’s the No. 52 overall player and the No. 42 running back in the country for the class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 76 player from the state of Florida.
Mizell attends Western High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He’s listed at 6-foot, 195 pounds.
Kentucky initially offered Mizell a scholarship back on May 11. He took his official visit to Lexington this past weekend.
Kentucky now has 7 commits in the class of 2024. Mizell is UK’s second-highest ranked recruit so far. The group sits at No. 55 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
