Things at Texas don’t seem to be going very well for Tom Herman.

A couple weeks ago, talented junior safety BJ Foster quit the team in the middle of a game. He ended up returning to the team after apologizing.

Now, the Longhorns may be losing another player. Redshirt freshman Kenyatta Watson has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per Anwar Richardson from Rivals.com.

Texas was upset by TCU 33-31 Saturday night.

Watson is a former top prospect who signed with Texas in the class of 2019. He was rated a 4-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 16 overall cornerback, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Watson is also from the state of Georgia (Loganville), too, and he was recruited by several SEC teams. The Tennessee Volunteers really wanted to sign Watson before he ultimate played at Texas. The former Under Armour All-American played in 4 games for Texas last season and was able to redshirt. He recorded 6 tackles and 1 pass breakup.
