Smart confirmed that 9 of the prospects are enrolled and currently practicing, while also adding that this group likely has the best GPA of any of his classes.
Harris, a native of Phenix, Alabama, is regarded by 247Sports as the No. 1 prospect from Alabama, the nation’s No. 2 cornerback, and the 23rd-best prospect in the country.
Tyler Williams is Georgia’s highest rated wide receiver signee. The 6-3, 200-pound prospect from Lakeland, Florida, arrives as the nation’s No. 14 wide receiver and the No. 18 player from Florida.
Smart is particularly pleased with the additions at defensive back and wide receiver.
“We think we addressed a lot of needs at defensive back and receiver,” Smart said.
