Kirby Smart knows Georgia’s offense needs to get going against Auburn in the second half.

The Bulldogs lead the Tigers 14-0 at halftime, but the offense, particularly Stetson Bennett, left a lot to be desired in the first half.

Bennett finished the first half just 7-of-13 for 25 yards. Georgia’s rushing attack accounted for 118 yards. Daijun Edwards ran for 46 yards and a touchdown to lead all ball carriers. Kenny McIntosh also rushed for a touchdown.

At halftime, Smart was asked about his offense.

“We’ve done some striking and attacking, and then, we’ve done some not-so-striking and attacking,” Smart said. “We’ve gotta play a little consistent and do a better job valuing our possessions on offense.

“We’ve got to go out and execute (on offense). We’ve got to convert some third downs. We’ve got to execute better on offense.”
