Georgia would really like to get back its trio of injured players, Lawrence Cager, Travon Walker, Tyson Campbell, for its showdown with rival Florida this Saturday. Based on what Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart said Tuesday in his press conference, getting back all three this weekend is a possibility.
Smart didn’t reveal a whole lot about each player, but he did say all three have been practicing.

WR Lawrence Cager (ribs and shoulder) and CB Tyson Campbell (turf toe) have “been out there practicing,” per Kirby Smart. (But how much he doesn’t say.)

Based on how the offense played before the bye week, the player Georgia might need back the most is Cager. He is second on the team with 19 receptions and 245 receiving yards. Cager is also tied with Demetris Robertson for the most touchdown receptions on the team with three.
Cager missed Georgia’s last game against Kentucky. Without him, the Bulldogs didn’t score in the first half and finished the game in 35 passing yards. However, the weather — a heavy downpour of rain at times — played a role in Georgia’s conservative playcalling.
Walker has been sidelined the last two games since suffering a wrist injury in Week 6 against Tennessee. He has five total tackles, including 0.5 tackle for loss and 0.5 sacks this year.
Campbell hasn’t played since Week 3 against Arkansas State. In three games, he has seven total tackles, including 0.5 tackle for loss and three pass breakups this season.
Georgia was on a bye week this past Saturday. This weekend, the Bulldogs will face Florida in Jacksonville on Nov. 2.
