Christian Kirk has 3 years of tape making spectacular plays all over the field against SEC defenses.
Still, the former Texas A&M star is not a consensus first-round pick in early mock drafts. Only time will tell if that happens, but Kirk wanted to set the record straight.
Should he be the first receiver off the board this April? He believes so.

Most of the mock drafts seem to favor former Alabama star Calvin Ridley ahead of Kirk. Kirk might not have the height of an outside receiver like Ridley, but he certainly adds plenty of versatility.
And despite the Aggies’ quarterback issues the last couple years, Kirk still put up some impressive numbers. He still recorded 900-plus receiving yards and 71 catches in all 3 seasons in College Station.
Kirk added to his résumé with a solid start in Indianapolis. He tied for fourth among receivers with 20 bench press reps.
If Kirk can post big numbers on Saturday, he’ll make a strong case that he should be considered the top receiver in the draft.
