Kirk Herbstreit slams Tennessee’s culture after unsportsmanlike conduct penalty following TD

Tennessee finally snapped its long streak of not scoring a touchdown in the third quarter of Saturday’s game against No. 1 Alabama.
However, the moment was quickly soured when redshirt junior DB Rashaan Gaulden gave Alabama fans double middle fingers after LB Daniel Bituli’s pick-six.
That prompted ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit to rip the Vols and embattled coach Butch Jones for having a culture problem:

Indeed, if an Alabama player had done that, coach Nick Saban would likely go on an epic rant on the sideline and keep the player on the bench for the rest of the game, if not longer.
However, mistakes like this seem to be common for the Vols under Jones.
If the embattled coach wants to keep his job, he’ll need his players to stop making ridiculous, preventable mistakes moving forward.
Otherwise, the Tennessee athletic department will bring in a coach who can keep his players from having mental lapses like Gaulden’s.
