Kyren Lacy just went Beast Mode.

The senior LSU tight end did a little bit of everything to start off LSU’s spring game scrimmage Saturday. First, Lacy hauled in a pass that was thrown slightly too high, coming down with one hand. He then broke a few tackles and practically dragged a defender into the end zone to complete the 70-yard TD connection.

We know it’s just a spring game, but what an incredible play!

Lacy, who has been with the Tigers for 1 year, had a bit of a ho-hum start at LSU. He started his career at Louisiana before transferring and totaling 24 receptions for 268 yards last season. He had some flashes, but nothing that would have shown he’s capable of a monster play like that.

Whispers out of spring practice spoke to Lacy’s growth this offseason. And while there’s still a long way to go, this play has to make any LSU fan excited for football season.

Maybe overlook some of the poorer tackling attempts late in the video though, Tiger fans.
