Lane Kiffin is dying for tonight’s national championship game to get underway.

That’s because the last time Alabama’s offensive coordinator was involved in one, his USC Trojans lost a heartbreaker to the Texas Longhorns 41-38 back on Jan. 4, 2006.

He tweeted his anxiousness to two of the standouts in that game, including the opposing quarterback. Vince Young shredded the Trojans defense that game, throwing for 267 yards while rushing for 200 more and 3 touchdowns.

Reggie Bush’s performance wasn’t too shabby either, amassing 361 all-purpose yards with 2 total touchdowns.

In other news, Kiffin showed up to tonight’s game with swag to spare.
