The SEC Softball Tournament will begin this week in College Station, with the Texas A&M Aggies entering the event as the tournament’s lowest seed.
Of the 13 SEC schools with softball (Vanderbilt doesn’t have a team), Alabama leads the way, entering the tournament as the No. 1 seed.

No. 12 seed Mississippi State will get things started against the host Aggies on Wednesday, with the winning team going on to play its second game of the day that evening against No. 5 Ole Miss.
Alabama went 18-6 in conference play this year to win the regular-season title, so the Tide will certainly be tough to beat this week in College Station.
