Former South Carolina WR Alshon Jeffery was a huge part of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl victory last season, but this year, he had a costly drop as the Eagles were driving with a chance to beat the New Orleans Saints.
The ball went through his hands and landed in the arms of a Saints’ defender, sealing the Eagles’ loss. However, one young fan is making sure Jeffery feels the love.
As you can see in the post below, a second-grade fan of Jeffery and the Eagles wrote him a heartfelt letter telling him to keep practicing because he’s a good athlete:
Dear @TheWorldof_AJ, our second grade daughter is a huge fan and wrote you a letter in school yesterday. @Eagles #FlyEaglesFly #Eagles ?? pic.twitter.com/N3bx7xLlQl

It’s likely that this viral post will make its way to Jeffery, and equally likely that he’ll appreciate the message.
Jeffery figures to continue being a big part of the Philadelphia offense, so we’ll see if he can bounce back from this letdown next season. His biggest fan will be rooting for him.
