There are always some pretty cool mouth guard designs worn by college football players throughout the season. But one Duke player may have already won the award for having the best.
Blue Devils punter Austin Parker wore a mouth guard that featured a curly handlebar mustache on Saturday against Northwestern.
It takes a really special mouth guard for it to be noticeable while watching on television, and that’s exactly how people spotted Parker’s unique design. Take a look below:

Duke fans don’t want to see Parker on the field, because that means the Blue Devils’ offense didn’t succeed. But at least Parker can provide some comedic relief with his mustache design when he does have to come onto the field.
Perhaps Parker’s design brought Duke good luck as it led Northwestern, 21-7, early in the second half.
