LOOK: Georgia cleverly jokes about its ‘North Campus’ located in New England
The defending AFC Champions loaded up on Bulldogs early in the 2018 NFL Draft with the selections of Isaiah Wynn (at No. 23 overall) and Sony Michel (at No. 31 overall) during Thursday night’s first round. Those were wise choices as both the Patriots and the Bulldogs both know a thing or two about winning on the football field.
With the spring season finally arriving in the South, Georgia’s social media team took the opportunity to make a clever joke regarding the nice weather outside by roping in Gillette Stadium in New England. The UGA football account referred to the NFL stadium as its “North Campus” in the tweet below.
Prior to selecting Wynn and Michel in Round 1, the Patriots already had two former Bulldogs on the roster in center David Andrews and receiver Malcolm Mitchell.

Who knows, at this rate, Jake Fromm may be the one that finally succeeds Tom Brady in New England in a couple of years.
