When it comes to building an elite roster in college football, everyone with real insight knows where you have to look first and foremost — the South.
While Alabama and Clemson are both located in the South, it’s interesting to see just how many prospects on each roster hail from the region. While the Crimson Tide venture out west and up north for some elite prospects, while the Tigers also go north from time to time, the overwhelming majority of both rosters are built with players from the South.
SportSource Analytics recently released a graphic showing where each player on each roster hails from and the graphic displays just how hard both programs hit the South.
