The Georgia Bulldogs took a surprising 13-0 lead over Alabama at halftime of the National Championship Game, but there is still a lot of football left to be played.

However, one big call was missed early in the third quarter, as Georgia RB D’Andre Swift had his facemask grabbed by an Alabama defender.

The Big Ten referees missed the call, as you can see in the photo below, with the defender’s hand clearly inside Swift’s facemask:

When replays were shown in the stadium the Georgia fans in attendance heartily booed the no-call.

Alabama scored on the next possession, cutting the lead to 13-7. Tua Tagovailoa is in at quarterback, and it will be interesting to see if the Crimson Tide can take advantage of the missed call even more.
