LOOK: ‘Santa Cam’ Newton surprises kids with more than $100,000 worth of gifts

Say what you want to about Cam Newton on the field, but the Carolina Panthers’ quarterback certainly loves giving back to his community off of it.
The former Auburn star was active around Thanksgiving, donating a nice dinner to 1,200 kids in the community and providing even more food for them to take home to their families.
Then, this week, he got in the Christmas spirit, donating over $100,000 worth of gifts to kids at five different locations, as you can see in the video below:

Newton also made donations to programs in those communities, really giving back to those in the Charlotte area.
It’s always great to see athletes doing things like this, and Newton really seems to enjoy his role as “Santa Cam.”
