LOOK: Text messages between Shelley Meyer and Courtney Smith released

By now, everyone knows what became of the ugly domestic violence allegations against former Ohio State WR coach Zach Smith.
Smith got fired and coach Urban Meyer was suspended for the first three games of the 2018 season for not properly handling the situation.
On Tuesday, Ohio State released a number of documents regarding the investigation, and text messages between Meyer’s wife, Shelley, and Smith’s ex-wife, Courtney, surfaced. As you can see below, Shelley Meyer wanted to check in with Smith after the incident:

It appears investigators had this information during the proceedings, so this factored into Meyer’s three-game suspension.
Still, it’s not a good look for the embattled coach that he said he had no knowledge of the 2015 incident when his wife clearly was concerned about Courtney Smith’s well-being.
