The Pop-Tarts Bowl has a working toaster as its trophy. Why not a trophy filled with baked beans?

That’s what we got on Tuesday at the Boca Raton Bowl between Louisville and Toledo.

First off, it’s worth mentioning that 2025 marked the first year the Boca Raton Bowl has been sponsored by Bush’s Baked Beans. In fact, the official name of the game is Bush’s Boca Raton Bowl of Beans. (Yes, that’s the actual official name.)

Cardinals head coach Jeff Brohm has it good compared to other coaches. His team could have been playing in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl, where the winning coach gets a mayo bath.

Congratulations to the Cardinals for the win on Tuesday. The bowl of baked beans going to the winner is just another example of how weird the sport of college football really is.
