Interim president Lori Gonzalez said she loved “University of Kentucky” Friday evening during University of Louisville’s graduation ceremony.
The ceremony was the school’s return to in-person commencement exercises at the KFC Yum! Center, and her misquote will be one that fans won’t forget.
“I would be remiss if I didn’t thank Neeli Bendapudi for her incredible leadership and passion to advance UofL into the thriving community that we are today,” Gonzalez said. “I want to personally thank her for bringing me home to Kentucky and bringing me to this campus. I love the University of Kentucky, and I plan to continue the tremendous progress and trajectory we’re on.”
