Jayden Daniels was banged up in the second half of the Tigers’ loss to Texas A&M. The LSU starting quarterback left the game but returned after having his ankle taped.
Daniels began the week wearing a walking boot. But a week of practice and recovery has Daniels ready for Saturday’s tilt against Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. ESPN’s Alex Scarborough shared the update from Brian Kelly on Thursday.

Daniels has thrown for over 2,500 yards and also leads the Tigers with 864 rushing yards. His health is a key factor in LSU’s chances to upset the Bulldogs on Saturday.
