Mac Jones’ status updated ahead of New England Patriots’ Week 2 game

Mac Jones will be good to go this weekend when the Patriots play the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.
The Patriots quarterback missed practice Thursday, but NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported that Jones was taken off the injury report.

Jones, a former championship-winning quarterback at Alabama, struggled in the season opener against the Miami Dolphins. Jones was 21-of-30 for 213 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Jones was sacked twice and pressured for much of the game.
THe second-year quarterback threw for 4,500 yards and 41 touchdowns in his junior year for the Crimson Tide, leading them Tide to the 2020 CFP national championship.
