Johnny Manziel’s comeback attempt began an important chapter on Friday night.
The former Texas A&M Heisman Trophy winner got into his first CFL game in the second quarter. Manziel actually started the night by completing his first 3 pass attempts.
Here was the first pass of his CFL career with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats:

And Manziel also converted a nice third down out of the pocket in the second half:

Manziel finished the night 9-for-12 for 80 yards, with 2 carries for 10 yards and a few flashes of his old self.
Here’s hoping for some more vintage Manziel.
