Texas A&M has weapons all over the field. The latest problem for opposing defenses? Sophomore receiver Terry Bussey.
The Aggies are up 7-6 over the Utah State Aggies thanks to a 34-yard touchdown connection between quarterback Marcel Reed and Bussey, who streaked past defenders and caught a great toss from Reed. Although Bussey was wide open, it’s no doubt a nice sight to see for Aggies fans as he missed a few of these passes last week against UTSA.

Utah State responded the following drive but failed to convert the ensuing 2-point attempt.
Bussey, like newly-added transfers Mario Craver and KC Concepcion, is a threat to score from just about anywhere on the field. Last season as a freshman he totaled 17 receptions for 216 yards while also taking 16 rushes for 102 yards and a pair of touchdowns. As my framing suggests, the above touchdown is Bussey’s first receiving score of his college career.
If Bussey does take that step as a receiver, he and the Aggies offense are going to be very difficult to stop. Texas A&M boasts a strong offensive line, with weapons at both running back and receiver. We’ve already touched on a few of the pass-catchers, but running back Le’Veon Moss and Reuben Owens form one of the better rushing tandems in the league.
