Mario Cristobal getting destroyed on social media for Miami’s anemic offensive showing at Clemson
Miami has played poorly this season under 1st-year coach Mario Cristobal.
The Hurricanes entered today’s game against Clemson at 5-5 and are laying an egg against the Tigers, especially on the offensive side of the ball.
Miami managed just 8 yards of total offense in the opening 30 minutes en route to a 24-0 halftime deficit.
The Canes have managed to move the ball a bit in the 3rd quarter and have kicked a field goal, but overall it has been an absolutely putrid effort.
Cristobal has come under fire regularly in his debut season at his alma mater, most notably after getting blown out at home by Middle Tennessee.
And college football fans are on the attack on social media again this week given how inept his team has looked.
Here’s a sampling of some of the comments:
Don't think there's a coach in America I'd want to have less on Saturday's than Mario Cristobal. He's found himself in a rock fight alone down 24

If I were Mario Cristobal, my halftime speech would be a reminder that what you put on film still matters, even when you’re in the transfer portal

"Chris Wallace covers college football for Saturday Down South. He has covered college athletics for multiple newspapers and also worked previously for Rivals.com and GolfChannel.com."
