Former Alabama linebacker Markail Benton ejected from FCS playoff game following vicious hit

The former Alabama linebacker left Nick Saban’s program via transfer and now suits up at the FCS level for Jacksonville State.
During a recent appearance against Delaware, Benton was ejected for the following hit on quarterback Nolan Henderson.

Without Benton in the lineup, Delaware ended up winning the game 20-14 to advance to the FCS quarterfinals.
