Report: Sean McDonough leaving Monday Night Football to return to college football
Sean McDonough is reportedly going back to school.
The ESPN Monday Night Football announcer agreed to step down from that role and return to the college game, according to a report from Sports Illustrated’s Richard Deitsch:
Sports Illustrated can report that Sean McDonough has mutually agreed to return to college football for ESPN later this year. He will no longer call Monday Night Football.
