Mecole Hardman made some NFL history with his performance Sunday. The former Georgia standout had 3 touchdowns for the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers.
Hardman was particularly effective for the Chiefs on jet sweeps. His first score of the day registered as a passing play thanks to a short forward toss from Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes. On the other 2 touchdowns, Hardman ran the ball into the end zone. According to the NFL, Hardman is the first wide receiver in the modern era to record 2 rushing TDs and a receiving score in the same game.
