Mecole Hardman ribs former Clemson QB Tajh Boyd over Tigers’ easy schedule

There aren’t too many SEC versus ACC debates these days. Three years ago, they happened all the time, but with only one ACC team ranked in the Top 20, the conference is no match for the mighty SEC.
Or is it? Former Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd appears to think the conferences are still comparable. He made his argument in response to a Paul Finebaum video on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.
Then former Georgia wide receiver Mecole Hardman explained to Boyd why he’s wrong.
Don’t do that..Clemson has won these games time and time again! Proof is in the pudding @finebaum BTW 5 of the teams in the sec have losing records. Who are they really playing? https://t.co/sKc88tYwFL

One thing Hardman got wrong, though, was there are actually three ACC teams in the Top 25. In addition to Clemson at No. 2, Wake Forest and Virginia sit at No. 22 and 23, respectively.
But Hardman’s point is well taken, as the SEC has as many Top 5 teams as the ACC has Top 25, and while the SEC did suffer some embarrassing losses in Week 1, one could probably contribute six SEC teams having a losing record to the fact that they have to face the five teams the SEC has ranked in the Top 10.
